When you arrive back at your office from a networking event, what do you do with all those business cards?
My routine is to add everyone in our database, send an invitation to connect via LinkedIN and send an e-mail to continue our discussion from the event.
Once the business cards are entered in the database they go into the recycle bin. After reaching out to each individual a follow-up task is assigned for future communication.
Simple process and working to build relationships generating good ongoing discussions.
