What is holding You back?

Do you ever ask yourself "What is holding You back?"

Take a look at this question, and rephrase it to "What would you do if you were not afraid?"   

Now, when you ask yourself this question, you can immediately start thinking about ideas and scenarios to help you move forward.

Think about your challenges and how you address them.   Is some sort of fear getting in the way of resolving challenges?

I've let you know before my biggest fear is "fear of failure" and when this is removed, it becomes a lot easier to overcome all challenges.

  1. Fear of failure is one thing....sometimes it's fear of success leaving you stranded and not believing in yourself or your abilities.
    Best way to combat this is an exercise I discovered called the 'How to Believe Workbook' by By Kaihan Krippendorff (www.kaihan.net). This takes you through your current belief and helps you to reframe it. I have used it myself as well as with clients - great tool.

    The other tool I use if that 'fear' starts creeping in is an iPad app called Unstuck - it is completely fun and easy to use as well as moves you through your challenge quickly with clear actions to take on the way out.
