February Circles scheduled in Leamington on February 7th at noon, location is Main Grill in Kingsville.
The WindsorEssex Circle will be on a Thursday (then back to Wednesdays!). Next WindsorEssex Circle is February 9th at 5:00 pm, location is Windsor Yacht Club.

Effective Leadership by Coaching
When and how does an individual actually hang up the skates and become the Coach?
Letting Go is the biggest challenge to face in 2012. This is a tough one juggling day-to-day sales and Coaching the Management Team. Some owners have let go completely and focused on strictly Coaching. Others have balanced both and made it a work in progress.
What successful transitions have you experienced to move to full-time Coaching?
Every day is a step towards the right direction and relinquishing day-to-day tasks to a great Team a little bit at a time. Coaching the Sales Manager and the Marketing Manager have helped with this shift of focus with success.
Letting Go of the tasks you enjoy and are good at is difficult, however, with the right coaching your team can accomplish them. The target of full-time Effective Leadership by Coaching is well under way. Thanks to the AlphaKOR Team, long-term clients and great Circles of people helping us continue to grow along the way.

Team Building
How does your company build a strong Team?
AlphaKOR has a number of fun after-hour events to continue to build our strong Team.
We currently have a weekly AlphaKOR family skate. A number of our team are on a soccer team with employees supporting and cheering them. Some of us are on a pickup hockey group and we are not ready for fans just yet.
As the President of AlphaKOR it's a whole different story when yours truly is on skates! What an experience to have a new employee coach me on the ice. This is a real example of increasing respect for each other leading to excellent teamwork.
Increasing the team spirit after hours has contributed to the Team working closer together during business hours. As AlphaKOR continues to grow these team building activities become more important.
On the business side, increased discussions amongst the employees and monthly staff meetings contribute to company wide teamwork and communication.

Looking at all the good stuff happening at AlphaKOR for 2012 it's nice to share and thank everyone who is part of our success. Technology keeps moving exponentially fast and we are here to help you embrace it whether it's mobile apps, mobile ready websites or even clarifying the Cloud discussion for you!
Thanks to the many loyal clientele who support us and refer us! We greatly appreciate your loyalty and your candid feedback to keep us striving for excellence.
One milestone to share with you is named as a Finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year, Chamber Business Excellence Awards 2012. It is such an honour to be recognized by the business community for my leadership role at AlphaKOR and such an awesome Team we have built!
In February, AlphaKOR will be celebrating 17 years in business with continued success and the future keeps looking brighter.
The Circles are growing both in Windsor and in Leamington. Looking forward to starting the Chatham Circle and beyond this year.
